We follow universal precautions as outlined by OSHA and CDC standards. We have rigorous disinfection and sterilization protocols, and have implemented additional safety measures to further protect our patients and team throughout the COVID-19 pandemic: prescreening of patients and staff, a modified schedule limiting the number of patients in the office at a time, additional PPE, additional plastic barriers, disinfection rinses for patients, sneeze guards at the front desk, and options for no-contact check in and out.
We use an HOCl fogger to control aerosols after every patient and use an electrostatic sprayer throughout the office regularly. We carefully monitor COVID-19 developments, and adjust our office procedures as appropriate.
