We provide a flexible schedule and appointments policy to accommodate your needs and help you receive quality dental care in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Life Happens!

Schneider Family Dentistry understands if you experience an unexpected delay. Please call us if you are running late for an appointment. If you will be more than 15 minutes late we may need to reschedule you in order to avoid inconveniencing patients scheduled after you.

We provide the care, time and attention necessary for every patient’s personalized treatment. Sometimes a situation may occur that causes us to run a few minutes late. If this happens, we kindly ask for your patients and remind you that we will provide the same care and attention to you. We will try to notify you if we are running late so you can adjust your schedule.

Accompanying Your Child

We welcome parents to accompany their children to the treatment room. However, we may ask that parents relax in our waiting room while their child is being treated. We have found over the years that many children are better behaved when their parents are not in the room with them. If your child does need your support, we will bring you into the room and ask that you quietly reassure them so we can continue to provide their care.

Emergency Care

If you experience pain, swelling, bleeding or other symptoms of a dental emergency outside our office hours, please call 240-654-3555 and press 9 to reach the on call doctor. If the doctor is unable to answer immediately, leave a detailed message including your name, date of birth, symptoms and a call back number. We will return your call as soon as possible.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel or change your appointment, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance so we can offer your time for another patient. Your appointment time is reserved specially for you, and if you do not come we are left with a hole in our schedule. There is a $50 fee for missed appointments and for appointments rescheduled with less than 48 hours notice.
